The intent of “Waiting on a Woman” was to capture, the quiet tension of anticipation. I was inspired by how an ordinary act of waiting can hold tenderness and mystery. The energy of the painting flows through the light on the bench and the lifted newspaper, inviting viewers to imagine their own story within the stillness.
